Kappa's Enjoy a Night in February

Even though it was cold, we still had fun meeting at The Salem Tavern for dinner and a quick lesson on how to turn wood into works of art.

Wednesday February 24th, 2010 guest artists Glenn and Linda Mace showed us their their talents.

Below, Glenn Mace demonstrates turning the wood into a small bowl. There were also multiple steps of carving and shaving to create the definition of the piece. The entire demonstration took about 30 minutes.
