The Greater Raleigh Alumnae Association
As individuals with time, talents and treasures,
Kappas first support our sisters;
second, we participate in local service projects; and
third, we serve the greater good.
Our alumnae associaion has a few events this year that focus our energies on helping others. We'll collect suits and dresses in support of Dress for Success as a local philanthopy and support Kappas nationwide with our Holiday Sharing program.
Reading Is Fundamental (RIF), our official philanthropic partner, and along with other chapters and alumae groups, has been supported through the donation of thousands of books, money, and volunteer hours to Boys and Girls Clubs, elementary schools and hospitals.
Our chapters also have supported the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation with financial gifts and Rose McGill magazine subscription sales to help fund scholarships, confidential aid, education and training, and support of our two museums.
Today, assistance is given in Rose McGill’s name to many active and alumna members who find themselves with a sudden and unexpected decrease in finances.
