- Phoenix Alumnae Association is a member of the Adelphe Society which recognizes both associations and chapters for their outstanding support.
- There are four levels:
- 4 Gold: $100,000+

- 12 Bronze: $25,000 - $49,999

- Phoenix is one of 47 Adelphae Society members out of 306 associations -- an accomplishment we are very proud of!
- In keeping with the Kappa national philanthropy to support literacy, the Phoenix Alumnae Association supports the Arizona Literacy and Learning Center. This agency provides comprehensive research based screening diagnosis, and treatment for individuals with speech / language and reading disabilities. All donations made to the Arizona Literacy & Learning Center will be used to "Improve Literacy in Arizona". They need volunteers to help in the office, take small projects to work on as a group, to work on special events and to help in their programs with kids and adults.
Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation: Philanthropy 1-2-3
As individuals with time, talents and treasures, Kappas first support our sisters; second, we participate in local service projects; and third, we serve the greater good.
Our women support elementary schools, Relay for Life, Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Habitat for Humanity to name a few. Chapter fundraising events support causes such as the American Cancer Society, breast cancer/Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, tsunami relief, and multiple sclerosis research.
Reading Is Fundamental (RIF), our official philanthropic partner, has been supported through the donation of thousands of books and volunteer hours to Boys and Girls Clubs, elementary schools and hospitals.
Our associations also have supported the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation with financial gifts and Rose McGill magazine subscription sales to help fund scholarships, confidential aid, education and training, and support of our two museums.
