The Rhode Island Alumnae Association supports the Sargent Rehabilitiation Center each spring. Our members serve as volunteers for their annual fund raising golf tournament.
Philanthropy 1-2-3
As individuals with time, talents and treasures, Kappas first support our sisters; second, we participate in local service projects; and third, we serve the greater good.
Individually, our members support and volunteer with a variety of local charities. Reading Is Fundamental (RIF), our official philanthropic partner, has been supported nationally through the donation of thousands of books and volunteer hours to Boys and Girls Clubs, elementary schools and hospitals. RIAA has supported this effort through book collections as well as reading to local school children.
Our associations also have supported the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation with financial gifts and Rose McGill magazine subscription sales to help fund scholarships, confidential aid, education and training, and support of our two museums..
