The Salt Lake City Alumnae Association
Philanthropy 1-2-3
As individuals with time, talents and treasures, Kappas first support our sisters; second, we participate in local service projects; and third, we serve the greater good.
1 - Supporting each other
Through the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation, financial gifts and Rose McGill magazine subscription sales are used to help fund scholarships, confidential aid, education and training, and support of our two museums.
2 - Local service projects
Our alumna women support the Huntsman Cancer Foundation, Relay for Life, Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the YWCA to name a few. We also strongly support the Delta Eta chapter and their philanthropic efforts.
At this year's Founders Day celebration, children's books will be collected and donated to Eliza's Library, an organization created by a member of our Association, to spread the joy of reading.

3 - Serving the greater good
We are committed to literacy and Reading Is Fundamental (RIF), our fraternity's official philanthropic partner.
This February we will participate in the Fraternity's Third Annual RIF Signature Event. Together with the Delta Eta chapter and in partnership with Big Brothers and Big Sisters, we will host a "Reading is Key" event at Washington Elementary School in Salt Lake City. It will be an afternoon of reading, crafts, and fun!
