Joining the SF/Marin KKG Alumni Association is a fulfilling opportunity to connect with one another, give back to the community and keep our traditions alive. It’s never too late to contribute and get involved!
The Value Of Membership Dues
Paying alumni membership dues is a significant way of giving back to Kappa. Joining our alumni association expresses your commitment to our meaningful organization and has many benefits. Whether you are moving to a new city, searching for a job or seeking graduate school advice - you are exposed to a network of women who can help you.
We ask Kappa alumni to pay association dues each year to be in “good standing” with the Fraternity. You may ask, where do my dues go? Good question! A portion of these dues ($17 per member, per year) are submitted to our Fraternity Headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. The remaining portion of the dues collected stays within our local alumni association. This money is used for a variety of things to keep the association alive such as hosting events, creating newsletters, making community donations, supporting local chapters and contributing to the Kappa Foundation.
Membership Options
The various annual membership levels for the SF/Marin Alumnae Association for July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012 are:
$100 • Golden Key membership - a $55 donation (Receive special recognition; $40 goes to KKG Foundation; $15 stays within SF/Marin association)
$80 • Fleur-De-Lis membership - a $35 donation (Receive special recognition; $25 goes to KKG Foundation, $10 stays within SF/Marin association)
$60 • Sapphire Member - a $15 donation (Receive special recognition; $10 goes to KKG Foundation, $5 stays within SF/Maring association)
$45 • 2011-2012 Standard Alumnae Association dues
$30 • Wise Owls membership (initiated before 1961)
$20 • Dual Membership (Already a paid member with another association)
Free • Honorary; Initiated before 1945 (Please fill out the membership form)
We ask that you submit your dues payment via check or through PayPal.
