Dinner for No Reason
Periodically we organize informal dinners at either a local restaurant or a fellow Kappa’s home. No agenda, just dinner and good company. Look for announcements about upcoming dinners via email and on our Events Calendar. If you are interested in hosting a dinner, please Contact Us. Bon Appetit!
Night Owls Happy Hours
Our Night Owls (younger Kappa alumnae) frequently get together after work for a happy hour where they catch-up, meet new friends and network. Typically they are held at venues in downtown San Francisco or the Marina district.

Philanthropy
The alumnae association actively promotes Kappa's national philanthropies the Kappa Foundation, the Rose McGill Fund, and Reading Is Fundamental. We also participate in annual events such as the Susan G. Koman Race for the Cure, the Friends of the Public Library used book sale among others. Please see the Philanthropy page for more information. If there is a cause, charity, or non-profit organization you feel particularly strong about or would like Kappa to become involved with feel free to send your ideas our way.
Kappa Book Club
The KKG Book Club has been meeting regularly since 1998, usually every 4 or 5 weeks at one of the members homes. The bookclub meetings are split between San Francisco and sunny Marin. All ages and all suggested meeting locations including restaurants, apartments, homes, and picnics are welcome! Past books the group has read include What is What by David Eggers, Peony in Love by See, Adverbs by Handler and Omnivores Dilema by Michael Pollan. Kappa Moms
We'd like to start a group for moms (stay at home and working) so that we can come together to learn, discuss and share tips and resources about being a mom in the Bay Area.
