The South Jersey Alumnae Association
The Southern New Jersey Alumnae Association (SNJAA) of Kappa Kappa Gamma is an active association whose members reside in the southern area of New Jersey. On November 3, 1948 we were chartered as a club by the Fraternity and in March, 1963 our status was changed to an association. This year we celebrate our 53rd year as a group!
Our members are part of a diverse group that include educators, stay-at-home moms, businesswomen, retirees, and everything in between. Our members are alumnae ranging from recent graduates to members who have been Kappas for more than 60 years! Click here to view our Membership Directory.**
Our group holds Dining Out meetings several times a year at local restaurants. If you want to try new restaurants or go to old favorites with your Kappa sisters, join your us for an evening or afternoon of fun and food as we visit restaurants in the area. The most exciting event of the year is the Holiday Auction Party and Fundraiser in December. It is based around a charity auction where each Kappa brings an item or two to be offered up for bid and then sold to the winning bidder. Association members bring a few dollars to make bids against their fellow Kappas and possibly bring home some great gifts! Each year this event generates hundreds of dollars in proceeds! We also provide support and assistance to the collegiate Zeta Phi chapter at Princeton University. We have several of our association members acting as House Board members and advisors to the chapter's officers. The Zeta Phi House Board at Princeton won the House Board award at the Kappa national convention in 2008!
