The South Jersey Alumnae Association

Philanthropy 1-2-3: As individuals with time, talents and treasures, Kappas first support our sisters; second, we participate in local service projects; and third, we serve the greater good.

The official philanthropy of Kappa Kappa Gamma is Reading is Fundamental, Inc. (RIF). RIF was founded in 1966, and it is the oldest and largest children's and family non-profit literacy organization in the US. RIF prepares and motivates children to read by delivering free books and literacy resources to those in need.

The Southern New Jersey Alumnae Association has actively helped RIF by collecting books at various meetings throughout the year and donating them to the organization. We are ALWAYS accepting donations of books and money to help local children.

Our association philanthropies also include the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation and the Providence House Women's Shelter.
