THE ST. LOUIS ALUMNAE ASSOCIATION

Kappa Kappa Gamma is an organization of women, which seeks for
every member throughout her life bonds of friendship, mutual support,
opportunities for self-growth, respect for intellectual development, and an
understanding of and an allegiance to positive ethical principals.

Founded in 1903, the St. Louis Alumnae Association is one of Kappa's oldest associations. Throughout its history, it has shown a deep commitment to our Mission Statement by providing an array of social, leadership, educational, and service opportunities for our Kappa sisters in the St. Louis area. Whether you are new to the area or just wanting to reconnect with old friends, the St. Louis Alumnae Association is for you!

For members of the St. Louis Alumnae Association, Kappa truly is for a lifetime. We take pride in our traditions, the diversity of our membership, and our support of Kappa both locally and at the national level. While we consider it a privilege to serve our local philanthropy, Redevelopment Opportunities for Women, and our national philanthropy, Reading is Fundamental, we rely on the loyalty of our dues-paying members to sustain and strengthen our Association and allow us to provide this support. Every fall, we enjoy celebrating Founders Day with our Kappa sisters at Washington University. The special event, which usually takes place on campus at the Whittemore House, always includes a wonderful luncheon, during which actives and alumnae renew old friendships and make new ones. One of the highlights of the day is hearing the inspiring reflections of our 50-, 65-, and 75-Year Honorees as they tell amazing stories about their college days and what being a Kappa has meant to them.

Although we come from different chapters, generations and back-grounds, we always have a lot of fun together!
