The Tampa Bay Alumnae Association
The Kappa Kappa Gamma Tampa Bay Alumnae Association strives to promote and maintain our founding values through various association events, support of area chapters, and philanthropic activities. We are proud to have been the recipient of the “Spirit of Kappa” Award given last March at the Mu South Province meeting for overall programming in associations with 50 or more members. Many thanks to our association president, Sue Courtright, for her leadership and to all association members for their participation – what an accomplishment for KKG-TBAA!
Our association supports our fraternity’s “Reading Is Fundamental” philanthropic partner through donations of books. Book donations are accepted at all association events, but typically the Holiday Party is when we ask that you bring them. You can also donate books at any time to the KKG-TBAA President. In addition to donating books, we will be visiting a local school in February - please check the Calendar of Events section on the website for details to be posted soon.
In addition to monetary donations we send to area chapters, we will also be putting together “study treats” for the Kappa chapter at UCF in preparation for their spring finals. Please check the Calendar of Events section for details forthcoming on this “treat preparation” night to be held on April 22.
Other events hosted by KKG-TBAA are an annual Pot Luck, Founders Day Luncheon, Holiday Party as well as several Night Owl Events. We are always open to suggestions on other types of events, additional ways to be involved with area chapters, and philanthropy opportunities. If you have suggestions, please send them to kkgtbaa@gmail.com.
If you are not already a member, we hope you will consider joining and look forward to having you as a member. Please check our membership page for details on how to join. KKG-TBAA is a wonderful way to stay connected to Kappa and to network with fellow alumnae…and it is also a lot of fun!
