The Wasatch Mountains Alumnae Association
The Wasatch Mountains Alumnae Association was founded in 2005 by a group of 13 women. Our official charter was granted by Fraternity Council on November 28, 2005. We were officially introduced as a new association at Convention in Salt Lake City in 2006. What an official way to welcome our group!
Since our founding we have sent a delegate to each Province Meeting and Convention. We have received awards at each Province Meeting and Honorable Mentions at Convention.
At the Eta Province Meetings:
We attended the Province Meetings in Ft. Collins (2011), Salt Lake City (2009), and Colorado Springs (2007). We had the privilege of serving as co-hostesses to the Province Meeting in Salt Lake City in 2009.
• In 2011, 2009, and 2007, we won the Commitment to Membership Award.
• In 2011 and 2009, we won the Overall Excellence Award.
• In 2011, we were awarded the Rose McGill Magazine Award.
• In 2009 and 2007, we were awarded the Communication Award.
• At the 2010 Convention (Phoenix), we were selected as a recipient of an Honorable Mention for the McNaboe Award for Alumnae Association Excellence.

We pride ourselves on our numerous philanthropic endeavors as well as having a good time with one another! We strive to uphold the ideals of "Kappas demonstrating throughout their lives bonds of sisterhood and mutual support, sustaining members in bad times, celebrating in good times and sharing at all times."
