Kappa's Philanthropy 1-2-3

As individuals with time, talents and treasures, Kappas first support our sisters; second, we participate in local service projects; and third, we serve the greater good. Even as alumnae we still need to strive to provide the same support to others as we did as actives, and promote what it is to be a great Kappa.

Reading Is Fundamental (RIF)

Our official philanthropic partner, has been supported through the donation of thousands of books and volunteer hours to Boys and Girls Clubs, elementary schools and hospitals. At several of our events we ask members to bring a children's book that we donate to one of our local RIF schools. On February 9th we will be hosting a "Reading is Key" event with the Richland County Library. Please stay tuned to our Events Calendar for more details. To learn more about RIF please click www.rif.org/

Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation

Our chapters and alumnae also have supported the Foundation with financial gifts to help fund scholarships, confidential aid, education and training, and support of our two museums. This year we are excited to be hosting our 1st Annual Wine and Design Fundraiser on January 13th from 6:30pm-8:30pm at Wine & Design Columbia in the Richland Mall. Tickets will be sold for a nominal fee, and 25% of all the nights proceeds will go towards the KKG Foundation. Check back to the Events Calendar for more details and updated ticket information.
