What we do...

Many of us keep in touch with our Kappa friends because those bonds are so strong and special; we know that our Kappa connections are for a lifetime.

The KKG Lexington Alumnae Association gives us all the opportunity to continue to build memorable experiences with Kappa sisters.   As alumnae, we help our communities and the nearby Kappa chapter, the Beta Chi Chapter at the University of Kentucky.

Beta Chi chapter, University of Kentucky

Beta Chi chapter was founded at the University of Kentucky on February 12, 1910 by members of the Chi Epsilon Chi Chapter and was the second women's fraternity to be on the University of Kentucky's campus. Beta Chi's founding members are Mary McEachin Rodes, Sara McEachin Carter, Mattie Virginia Cary, Aubyn Chinn, Sarah Rossetter Marshall, Mary Barrett Smith, and Alice Cary Williams. Beta Chi's house didn't come into use until one of  the member's father's purchased it and sold it to Beta Chi for only $1. The Beta Chi Chapter has lived there ever since.
